The Daniel Strada Foundation is a nonprofit charitable foundation created to honor the memory of Daniel. A remarkable young man, filled with love, kindness and had a way of always making others smile.
This foundation honoring Daniel will give back to the community in numerous ways that will make people smile.
Daniel was born in 1989 to Joe & Karen Strada. He was the youngest of three children, and his brothers, Michael & Anthony and sister in-law Bria were his best friends. He was an awesome, loving Uncle and proud to be the Godfather to his niece, Raegan. He resided in Lake Mary, Florida his whole (short) life.

Daniel was an amazing person. He had a passion for making others smile. His personality was one of always seeing the glass half full and he exhumed positive energy. Ask anyone who ever had the opportunity to meet Daniel, “What do you remember most about him?” Their response would be one that included his bright beautiful smile along with his warm and caring heart. He truly cared about others and making people happy. Whether he was making videos about eating healthy & working out properly, hosting video games, hanging out with friends or being at work with his coworkers, his goal was always to make people smile and to make them feel good about themselves. Daniel especially had a love for children & animals. He had a special place in his heart for the innocence of a child and loved to put smiles on their faces.
Here are just a couple of examples of his love for children:
He would enjoy winning stuffed animals whenever he would go to the attractions. He would then walk around with his winnings and pass them out. Seeing the faces of these little kids light up with a big smile as he handed them a stuffed animal would just melt his heart.
-Daniel was also in the process of setting up a free workout program for kids. He wanted to make it fun for them as they learned how to live a healthy lifestyle.
BUT he never got to fulfill that dream…
On July 8, 2018, Daniel was abruptly taken from us. While out enjoying an evening with his friends he was struck by a stray bullet, from almost a football field away. He was taken instantly from us. Our hearts were shattered.
Our family, his friends, coworkers and even those who only knew Daniel briefly, have all been affected by this tragic event. As our family and others continue to struggle with the loss of Daniel every day, we wanted to do something to keep his memory and his way of brightening up the lives of others alive. For his bright personality and contagious smile will be missed forever.
